T and Z here, 

We've made some updates to the gameplay during the 48 hour grace period of the Jam that makes us happier with the final result. Here's our changelog:

Bug Fixes

  • The game should no longer slow down every time you touch wall tiles from the bottom. Huzzah!
  • Sir Chad's vision has improved and he's less likely to bug out when deciding what enemy to strike down next. Note, we said less likely.
  • Main Menu music no longer resets when going between sub menus.

General Improvements

  • Sir Chad has learned the important skill "walk diagonally."
  • Princess Daffodil can now walk faster when going diagonally and her animation is now smooth.
  • Spikes have gotten a visual upgrade (yes, Princess Daffodil still has to walk over them and it is intentional).
  • Princess Daffodil's hit box is improved for easier bullet dodging.
  • Sir Chad's Holy Armor of Plot has upgraded and he can now block eyeball bullets in his path.
  • As a result of some of these general improvements, some nerfed difficulty in two of the rooms has been restored. Only a little. Promise.
  • Many new dialogues have been added for the characters, including for new scenarios like falling in holes and walking over spikes.
  • The main menu has added animation. Go, Sir Chad! Slay thine enemies! 
  • The Game Over screen got a small graphic update as well.

New Feature

  • We added a timer for you speedy demons out there. Make a succeed, quickly!
